What is Enterprise SSL?
Enterprise SSL is a centralised web based platform used to purchase, issue and manage multiple SSL certificates. It is uniquely based around a “pre-vetting” process which sees GeoTrust vet your company and your domain names only once. When you are vetted, you then have full control over issuing your organisation’s SSL certificates as and when they are required. This allows organisations to apply for and receive SSL certificates through their Enterprise SSL account in minutes rather than days. Enterprise SSL also offers considerable bulk discounts, making it the most cost effective platform for multiple SSL certificates available today.
Enterprise SSL is used to issue multiple True BusinessID certificates at a fraction of the SRP, and with added management and audit capabilities.
What is SSL?
The SSL (secure socket layer) protocol is the web standard for encrypting communications between users and web sites. Data sent via an SSL connection is protected by encryption, a mechanism that prevents eavesdropping and tampering with any transmitted data. SSL provides businesses and consumers with the confidence that private data sent to a web site, such as credit card numbers, are kept confidential. Web server certificates are required to initialize an SSL session.
SSL certificates can be used to secure web servers, mail servers and SSL VPNs.

Do you accept payment in € Euros?
At present we only accept payment in US Dollars. For convenience when you are purchasing we display as a guide the approximate cost of the product in Euros as well as in US Dollars. Please note that the Euro display is only an approximate guide and may vary based on current exchange rates. All sales are made in US Dollars.
Do I pay VAT?
No. You are billed in US Dollars and you will not pay VAT. You will only pay the price that you see displayed, there are no hidden costs such as sales tax or European / UK VAT.
What information must be submitted to GeoTrust as part of the verification process?
Proof of Organization (any of the following will apply)
- DUNS number (Dun and Bradstreet)
- Articles of Incorporation o Business License
- Doing Business As (DBA) registration o Partnership documentation
- Sole Proprietorship documentation
In order to ensure a smooth verification process, ensure that the following items are consistent with the order to have your server certificate order processed
- The Registrant listed in the InterNIC/WHOIS records for the domain name in question
- The Organization appearing in your "Proof of Organization" documents or DUNS number
- The Organization entered into the CSR (Certificate Signing Request)

How long does the vetting take?
The vetting is completed within one to two working days.
How do I issue certificates?
Once your account is active, you simply log into GeoCenter and choose to order a certificate. You will then be prompted for your CSR and within a few minutes you will receive your new certificate.
Who can apply for certificates?
Enterprise SSL allows for distributed certificate applications. This means that we will also provide you with a unique link that you could place on your company intranet, or provide to co-workers, that when followed begins the certificate enrollment process. You, as the administrator, will need to either approve or reject all certificate applications before the certificate can be issued. Therefore if necessary, you can provide a company wide certificate application “portal”, but maintain the final say as to whether a certificate should be issued.
What web browser programs are compatible with Enterprise SSL certificates?
Enterprise SSL certificates are True BusinessID certificates and are compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer® 5.01 and higher and Netscape/AOL web browsers version 4.51 and higher, comprising an estimated 99% or more of all web browsers in use today. All other commonly used browsers may connect securely with web servers using True BusinessID certificates.
